Tuesday Club - Reiki an Ancient Healing Technique; Brief History and Use in the Modern WorldThe evening focused on "Reiki" which is derived from two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy", Reiki is actually spiritually guided life force energy and in 1922 was developed by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui as a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
The talk was followed by a splendid meal at Antalya Restaurant, 103-105 Southampton Row, London
